The sniper nest is on a low hill

You need to reach the sniper nest in the Southern part of the map, close to the mission's starting point.

After you take your position in the sniper nest, lay down and aim the sniper rifle at the enemy several hundred meters away, to the North of your character. He has been shown in the above screenshot and he should appear in one of the fort windows.

Note - if the target does not appear in the window, try loading the game from the very beginning of the mission and go to the sniper nest immediately. In order to locate the enemy soldier in an easier way, you could use the binoculars (you can additionally mark him, if your difficulty level allows that).
