Meet up with the merchant | The City Thief Guide

The merchant is near the exit from the location that you currently are in. He has the basic resources in stock (arrows, food, etc), as well as two kind of upgrades. I recommend that you, first of all, buy a wrench, because you are going to need it both in the second chapter and for the side missions. The rest of the cash, you can spend however you like (just as a reminder, descriptions of the items on sale have been provided in a different chapter of the guide).
Note - before you leave the tavern, I recommend that you look around for two Newspapers - Treason! and - Northcrest Unbowed!), and also complete the first set of the optional missions, assigned to you by Basso (you can complete them now or leave them for later).
