This page of the guide to Outriders describes the Marshland Caverns Expedition along with tips that may come in handy while completing this mission.
First cavern
After starting the Marshland Caverns Expedition, you must make your way through a large cave. First, you will be encounter a few normal creatures accompanied by an Alpha Perforo, and then two elite Brood Mothers will appear in the arena together with many Alpha Perforos. If you can take out the Alpha Perforo with a few shots, it's a good idea to do that first and then focus all your firepower on the Elite units.
Second cavern
When you enter the second cave, three Elite Crawlers will immediately appear in the arena, which you should take care of immediately. Once you deal with these opponents, you'll have to fight the Elite Behemoth along with several smaller creatures.
The Crystal
At this stage of the Marshland Caverns Expedition, you need to stand in the fire-marked area to charge the crystal, which will open a passage to the rest of this location. The enemies will attack in waves (there will be about 5 or 6 in total, depending on your progress), and the among the enemies, you'll fight a few Elite units (Behemoth, Brood Mother), and the very dangerous Alpha Perforos, which are very aggressive and can jump to you within a split second.
The crystal only charges when you are in the marked area and when there are no enemies inside. However, if a group of attacking creatures pushes you outside of the marked area, don't hesitate to move a little further away to save yourself.
Drop Pod
The access to the Drop Pod is blocked by an enemy horde. In the first major wave, flying Screechers will appear, alongside a few minor enemies - as soon as you see the flying creatures, shoot them down and take them out..
Next, two Elite opponents will appear in the arena - a charging Behemoth and a Brood Mother; you should focus your fire on them to eliminate them as soon as possible. Remember that you will be attacked from all sides by minor enemies, so keep an eye out on your health level. Once all of the opponents are defeated, you will be able to open the capsule and claim your prize.
