In New World, mining is a profession that allows you to mine iron, silver, gold and orichalcum. In addition to ore, you can also obtain stone and alchemy ingredients from alchemy stones. Mining Tools

To be able to dig ore, you need to have a mining pickaxe, which can be crafted by Engineers. In New World there are 5 classes of mining pickaxes available The higher the class, the higher the speed of mining - of course, better tools need higher quality materials for crafting.

Available raw materials

Mining is primarily used to extract various ores, but with the help of a pickaxe you can also collect stone and alchemical materials. In the table below you will find out from what level of mining you can collect a particular resource. In addition, you will also find the required level for tracking - the level from which the icons of a particular resource appear on the compass.

Fast leveling of mining

One of the best ways to develop mining in New World is focus on iron and silver mining. Ores of these metals are found in every territory, collecting them is fast, which translates into a good time/item ratio. Once 150 level of mining is reached, switch to orichalcum. Most of the orichalcum ores are found in Shattered Mountain and Great Cleave.

Mining bonuses

You can increase the yield of your mining not only through a better mining pick-axe, but also by developing Strength. At the following levels of strength you will receive specific bonuses for mining in New World.

1. 50 strength points: 10% to mining speed.
2. 150 Strength points: reduces the weight of mining resources by 10%.
3. 200 strength points: 10% to mining speed.
4. 250 strength points: mining provides 10% more raw materials.
5. 300 strength points: 25% chance to extract ore with a single move
