The popularity of New World caused many players to wait in server queues that can take up to several hours. In addition, while waiting in the queue, many players report a problem with TooManyRequestsException error. This guide page tells you how to skip a queue and how to deal with the queue error.
How to skip a queue?
If you play on a popular server of New World with a large number of players, the way to avoid (or reduce the waiting time) queues is by logging in outside of peak hours. The majority of the players starts playing the game after 5 pm. So it is best to try to join the game in the morning or evening. You can also consider changing the server. Of course, this involves creating a new character and losing your previous progress. However, the less popular servers don't have a queue problem.
TooManyRequestsException Error
If you are waiting in a queue for a long time, you may see the following error - TooManyRequestsException. After closing the message, you will be thrown out of the queue. However, it is possible to return to it without losing your place. When you close the message, don't do anything. Do not turn the game off or rejoin the queue. Just stay on the main screen, and after a few minutes, the game should automatically get you back to the queue.
