New mobs, Update Aquatic: Phantom, Dolphin, Turtles, Drowned, Fish - where to find? Tips, advice

This page of our Minecraft guide has a list of the new mobs that were added in the Update Aquatic.

• Phantom
• Dolphin
• Turtles
• Drowned
• Fish

Phantom

It's a flying and aggressive mob. Appears only:

1. During the night;
2. When your character is above sea level;
3. The character has been awake for more than 3 days.

Dolphin

They appear in oceans. They are neutral in nature, but you can easily gain their affection by giving them fish. If you do that, they will lead you to the nearest shipwreck or underwater ruin.

Turtles

They appear on warm beaches. Baby turtles are highly susceptible to attacks from wolves, among others.

Drowned

This undead mob is hostile towards you. It resembles a zombie, but its face is covered in algae.

Fish

The update has added cod, salmon, pufferfish, and many types of tropical fish.
