Demo version
If you want to see if the game will interest you, download its demo version.
PC / MAC
You can play Minecraft demo version on PC and Mac by simply creating a Mojang account and then downloading the Minecraft launcher.
This version of the game lets you play five in-game days, or about 100 minutes.
XONE and X360
Free demo versions of Minecraft for Xbox One and Xbox 360 can be found in the Xbox Store.
This demo version only has the tutorial.
PS3, PS4 and PSVita
The PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita have a free demo version of Minecraft on the PlayStation Store.

The developer's official website
To play Minecraft you need to download the official client of the game, from the developer's official web page:("http://minecraft.net/"). Selecting Buy Now takes you to account creation - in is currently mandatory to download the game.
After entering the data, confirm your email by rewriting the confirmation code that you will receive in the mailbox. Payment can be made using numerous services like PayPal, but also by credit card. For Polish users, the recommended payment option, except for the card, is to use the Payu service.
Minecraft has now been purchased by Microsoft, so it's also available in the Microsoft Store online in the PC and Xbox Store versions on the XONE console.
Watch out for fake accounts!
On the internet, there are people who offer to generate Premium user codes for a minimal pay. It may happen that such accounts do not work or they have been simply stolen from the other users. Most often, even if the account works, it works only for a limited period of time and, by buying such an account, you support criminal activity.
The situation is different if someone is offering the Gift Codes to buy - if you activate your account with such a Gift Code, which has been given away/ sold by another user, you become a legal owner of such an account.
Also you can fall victim to account theft - in such a situation you should report this to the administrators through the official website.
