In Hogwarts Legacy, the Crossed Wands side quest will help you practice combat. On this page, you will read how to duel Hogwarts students to win all 3 rounds and get the Crossed Wands Champion Garb outfit.
Crossed Wands: Round 1
This side quest will be unlocked after the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Head to the South Wing and talk to Lucan Brattleby to start 1 of 3 wand dueling quests.
Choose a partner and start the battle. You will have to defeat 2 opponents at level 2. This quest is designed to familiarize you with the basics of combat. Use the right spells to break enemy barriers (when the enemy has a yellow barrier, you will pierce the defense with a spell of the same color).
Rewards for completing the quest:
- 180 XP.
Crossed Wands: Round 2
The next round will be against 3 students at level 11. This time you will have to use Accio and Levioso spells to break barriers.
Rewards for completing the quest:
- 180 XP.
Crossed Wands: Round 3
The final round will be against 4 students at level 18. This time they will have yellow, purple or red barriers. Set the right spells and defeat all opponents.
Rewards for completing the quest:
- 180 XP;
- Appearance - you will unlock a new cosmetic item, Crossed Wands Champion Garb.
