While playing Legacy of Hogwarts you will come across Collection Chests. Our tips will help you find all the collectibles in Hogsmeade.

One of the types of collectibles in Hogwarts Legacy, Collection Chests, often contain rare collectibles but look the same as regular loot chests. Study this page to learn the locations of 5 Collection Chests hidden in Hogsmeade.
To open the locks, you'll need the Alohomora spell - more on padlocks and lockpicking can be found on a dedicated page of our guide (FAQ -> Combat and Exploration -> How to open locks?).
Almost all of Collection Chests require rank 2 and 3 of the spell. To get the higher rank of the spell, collect Demiguise Statues and once you have enough, return to The Caretaker to get the new rank of the spell.
Collection Chest #1
Collection Chest #1 can be found in a small building next to the South Hogsmeade fast-travel spot. The door has a level 3 lock so you need Alohomora II first. The chest is on the top floor in the bedroom, next to the lamp.
Collection Chest #2
Collection Chest #2 can be found in a small house next to the building with Flutes & Lutes writing on it. The door has a level 3 lock. Look for the chest under the window, near the stairs.
Collection Chest #3
#3 is in a private room on the top floor of The Three Broomsticks inn. The door is protected by a level 3 lock. Look for the chest between the chair and the desk.
Collection Chest #4
Collection Chest #4 is in a small house on the eastern outskirts of the village. The door has a level 3 lock. Look for the chest near the bed, underneath the painting.
Collection Chest #5
The final Collection Chest can only be found during Natty's Relationship Quest called A Basis for Blackmail. To find it, you need to visit the Ashwinders' Hideout which is underneath Hog's Head pub.
In the main room of the hideout, go past the counter and turn right then left. The chest is between the wooden barrels.
Don't worry if you haven't found the chest during the course of the missions, as after you complete it, the hideout can be visited at any time.
