Report to Professor Fig
To be able to start this task, you need to complete both the Room of Requirement and In The Shadow of the Undercroft story quests - we describe them in detail on dedicated pages of the guide. Additionally, you need to be at least level 10.
Travel to Professor Fig's office and if needed, wait at the circle if you arrived at a bad time.
Enter the Map Chamber
Follow the mini-map and the directions from the enchanted compass. You'll need to descend to bottom levels through curved stairs. The next corridor leads to The Map Room.
Another cut-scene will play once you've entered the room. Once you're back to your hero, interact with the portrait of Parsifal Rackham. During the conversation, any answers will do as they don't affect further course of events. This is the end of this short quest and you've unlocked another one involving the trial.
