Rules for completing the Infamous Foes activity
Infamous Foes are a category of strong optional bosses. Most of them can be found while exploring the world map - after getting close enough to the boss, a skull icon will appear on the map.
Some Infamous Foes can only be encountered during quests. They do not spawn during normal exploration. Fortunately, none of these confrontations can be missed.
Search for these bosses once your character has reached high enough level. Defeating a boss whose level is significantly higher than yours can be very difficult, because even a single boss attack can deplete your entire health bar.
Some Infamous Foes are accompanied by common enemies. You can eliminate them first or focus on attacking the boss. The Disillusionment spell helps a lot in eliminating enemies - you can sneak up on them and kill right away or deal a lot of damage to them, forcing those enemies to fight in a weakened state.
Every Infamous Foe you defeat grants XP and increases your combat challenge progress. In addition, you can collect the loot they dropped and search their locations.
Quagmire Troll
Region: Hogwarts Valley

This big troll will be at least at level 31. There are also toads in the area so try to eliminate them first. Once the fight starts, avoid the troll's red charges and use Protego to stop boulders (with the right talent, you can also throw them back at the boss).
Ogbert the Odd
Region: Coastal Caves

He is the leader of a group of goblins who will be at least at level 22. The cave where Ogbert is staying is explored during the first journey from the northern to the southern part of the map. The boss is accompanied by other goblins - try eliminating at least some of them with stealth attacks. Use red spells to destroy Ogbert's red shield.
Rampant Dugbog

It's a giant toad that will be at least at level 24. There may also be other similar monsters in the area - deal with them first. During combat, look for opportunities to use Levioso to grab the tongue and immobilize the boss for a brief moment.
The Grim
Region: Hogwarts Valley

It's a big black wolf that will be at least at level 24. He is in a cave and the entrance to it is hidden between the rocks. There are also regular wolves and another Infamous Foe - the White Wolf described below. Try to attack the bosses one by one and remember to dodge their attacks.
The White Wolf
Region: Hogwarts Valley

It's a huge white wolf that will be at least at level 24. He is in a cave and the entrance to it is hidden between the rocks. There are also regular wolves and another Infamous Foe - the Grim described above. Try to attack the bosses one by one and remember to dodge their attacks.
Iona Morgan
Region: Poidsear Coast

The boss is at least at level 35 and stays in the ruins of Poidsear Castle. There you will also encounter numerous Dark Wizards. Try to be stealthy - attack regular enemies by surprise and use a stealth attack on Iona.
Silvanus Selwyn
Region: Clagmar Coast

Silvanus is at least at level 37 and is found in the ruins of Clagmar Castle. There you will also encounter numerous Dark Wizards. Try to be stealthy - attack regular enemies by surprise and use a stealth attack on Silvanus.
Belgruff the Bludgeoner
Region: Feldcroft Region

Belgruff is the leader of the goblin group and will be at level 20 or higher. The goblins have their camp in the ruins of Rookwood Castle. It is possible to sneak there and get rid of regular monsters silently first and then attack Belgruff by surprise.
Dunstan Trinity
Region: Manor Cape

Dunstan is a Dark Wizard and will be at least level 35. You will find him in an abandoned house - there are also many common enemies in the area. It's a good idea to use camouflage to eliminate the Dark Wizards silently and attack Dunstan by surprise.
Tempeste Thorne
Region: Hogsmeade Valley

Your destination is Falbarton Castle. Reaching this boss is initially impossible, because the Falbarton Castle is locked by default. You will gain access to this location while completing The High Keep main quest. Your character will then climb the castle walls together with Natty and unlock the entrance to the castle.
Return to the castle later in the game and explore the encampment behind it. Tempeste is at least at level 25. In the camp, it's best to sneak and weaken or eliminate Tempeste Thorne with a stealth attack.
Lord of the Manor
Region: Manor Cape

The boss is in the Cursed Tomb under the ruins of the mansion. You can only get there if you have the Alohomora III spell, because you need to open a gate with a level three lock. In the same dungeon, you will also find another Infamous Foe - Alyssa Travers.
Alyssa Travers
Region: Manor Cape

Bardolph Beaumont
Region: Hogsmeade Valley

This Infamous Foe only appears in the Brother's Keeper side quest, which you can start in the Upper Hogsfield.
Absconder
Region: South Hogwarts Region

This Infamous Foe only appears in the Absconder Encounter side quest, which you can start in Aranshire village.
Alexandra's Troll
Region: Hogwarts Valley

This monster only appears in the Troll Control side quest, which you can start in Brocburrow village.
The Insatiable Spider
Region: Hogsmeade

Dealing with the giant spider is part of the Tangled Web side quest. You can start it in Hogsmeade.
Pergit
Region: Hogwarts
Facing the Infamous Foe is part of The Tale of Rowland Oakes side quest. You can take care of it by visiting the Astronomy Wing.
Riparian Troll
Region: Hogwarts
Fighting this giant troll is part of the Beeting a Curse side quest. You can start it in the greenhouses at Hogwarts.
Grodbick
Region: Marunweem Lake

You will encounter this boss in the Lodgok's Loyalty main quest. During it, you visit the Coastal Mine location.
Cattrin Haggarty
Region: South Hogwarts Region

Cattrin can be defeated while completing Natai's relationship quest - The Lost Child. During this quest, you will visit the Ashwinder's Tent and Cattrin is one of the hostile characters in that place. You can easily attack her with a stealth attack.
Gwendolyn Zhou
Region: Hogsmeade

Cattrin can be eliminated during Natai's relationship quest - A Basis for Blackmail. During this quest, you will visit the Ashwinder's Tent and Gwendolyn is one of the hostile characters in that place.
