On this page of the guide to Borderlands 3 you will find the walkthrough of Atlas, At Last main mission. It involves visiting the headquarters of the Atlas Corporation. The location will be attacked and a series of battles will occur. The main opponent to defeat in this quest is boss - Katagawa Jr.

Start by listening to the conversation with Rhys. Go to the Meridian Metroplex on planet Prometheus and go to the specified location. Along the way you have to deal with not-so-challenging soldiers. Ultimately, you must reach the passage to the Atlas HQ location.

Initially, in the new location you will not encounter enemies, so you can focus on reaching specified areas and exploring them (collectibles, etc.).

Atlas HQ will be attacked shortly after you reach Coutryard of Innovation. During all the fights in the big round yard beware of the bigger Heavy-type opponents who are more resistant to damage and can perform jumps combined with strong punches to the ground. You will be aided by allied soldiers.

You have to gradually move towards the control room. Inside you will encounter Nullhound - first you need to deplete his blue and then yellow health bar. After dealing with the creature use the terminal to reset the cannons.

You must return to Atlas HQ. Destroy enemy soldiers on your way. Get into the Lobby of Self-Actualization. Head straight -scouting the upper balconies is optional.

Along the way you will be attacked by medium-sized spheres: Offender and Defender. Use weapons and abilities that can effectively weaken their yellow bars. A little further you will meet another mechanical opponent - Arbalest. Focus your attacks on him.

Get rid of Nullhounds and get to the terminal to reset the defence turrets. You have to fight off the Maliwan troops. Get outside.

You can use the stationary turrets - they deal a lot of damage and cover a wide range. Get away from the turrets only when a strong enemy (e.g. Heavy) manages to get very close or when you lose the shield and you will need a moment for them to replenish. You don't need to protect your allies. You will not fail the mission if anyone of them dies.

Go back to the previous building with the elevator going to Rhys's office. Wait till you get to the top of the skyscraper. Enter Executive Suite and go to CEO's Office.

Interacting with the desk shown in the screenshot unlocks a secret passage. Before you jump into the pit collect ammunition from the area, because in a minute you will start fighting with the boss. In the area, unfortunately, there are no vending machines. Slide down. You will land in the area where you have to defeat the boss-Katagawa Jr.

To prepare for the battle with Katagawa Jr. it would be nice to have one ranged weapon (such an assault rifle or a sniper rifle) and one short range gun (better shotgun). The battle itself has quite unusual rules. You will weaken the boss, by attacking his clones.

Clones of Katagawa appear in two variants. The first kind of clones are those that fire from a distance, for example from the top shelf. Use any rifle to attack them. You can aim directly at the clone or check to see if there is a generator near the clone. Shooting at the generator will cause it to explode dealing more damage to the clone.

The second type of these clones appears in the vicinity of the hero. Their attack is signaled by attempts to limit your vision. It is best to use a shotgun to attack these clones.

Each katagawa clone has a shield, and you must first get rid of it. The clone will disappear shortly after losing its shield. You need to make the most of this short moment to destroy the shield to deal as much damage to the clone's health belt as possible. Only these injuries will weaken the "main" health bar of the boss.

If during the fight you fall and you enter the Fight for Your Life mode, one of the clones should appear near the hero and try to perform a melee attack. You can attack and kill him without relying on help from an ally. This is also the only method to save yourself from final death if you play alone and you have no other ways of revival (Second Wind).

In the final part of the duel you will be attacked by the main Katagawa, not one of his clones. Mount any attacks to deprive him of health and kill him. The defeated boss explodes after teleporting into the vicinity of the hero. Kitagawa Jr. he will leave behind many credits, eridium and valuable equipment.

Wait until Rhys shows up and talk to him. You can advise him to keep his mustache (I love it) or shave it (it's gross). It makes absolutely no difference, other than what Rhys will look like in subsequent meetings.
