How to start the quest: Reach the exclamation mark in the Athenas region and talk to Brother Mendel.
Listen to what Brother Mendel has to say and follow him. He will unlock the entrance to the basement of The Holy Distillery. Each time you encounter a blocked passage in the cellar, find a small target plate to shoot - the example is shown in the above image. You'll be able to accomplish the mission's objective of getting rid of Ratch Gunk boogers by the way.
You will also receive two other objectives:
- Get rid of 3 Ratch Broodmother monsters - they're bigger and more durable. Shoot at them from a greater distance.
- Getting 5 Intoxicated Ratch Livers as an optional task. Find big monsters (lying on the ground) like the one in the picture above and always press the melee attack button to get more livers.
In the basement you will find the Bell Striker quest item. Once you've done all the work, reach the big bell and strike it in order to unlock the exit.
If you have collected all livers from the optional mission objective, leave them in the container marked by the game. In the area you will find chests and caches with valuable loot. Talk to brother Mendel. As a reward for completing this mission you will receive xp, credits (more if you have taken care of the optional objectives) and an epic shield.
