On this page of our guide to Borderlands 3, we've included information on how to unlock the ability to use of vehicles. This will become possible after you acquire the first car and get it to one of the Catch-a-Ride stations.
Access to vehicles will be granted to you relatively soon after starting the game. Until the following requirements are met, the Catch-A-Ride stations used to call vehicles will be inactive.
You need to defeat the first boss, Shiv, and unlock the Cult Following main mission In the initial part of this quest. You will be working with Ellie to acquire the first machine - Outrunner.
You need to get to the specified area of The Droughts map. You can behave in two ways:
- You can get into the parked car (image above).
- Steal one of the vehicles driven by enemies - this topic is described in more detail on a separate page How to steal a vehicle?
Once you have acquired any Outrunner, take it to the Catch-A-Ride station and park it on a rectangular field.
From now on, all Catch-A-Ride stations will be available. When interacting with each of them, you can choose the type of vehicle and its equipment.
