Fight for domination over the motherland

The most important unique mechanic for the Kislev faction is the fight for domination over the Motherland. Konstaltyn and Tzarina Katarin take part in it. If you click on the church symbol on the top middle menu bar, you will see the following things:

At the very bottom of the window there is an indicator showing how many supporters a given nation has. The group that kills 600 enemies first and absorbs the second one - they merge into a confederation.

There are thresholds that give useful bonuses for the faction that reaches them first. They will make your soldiers faster, provinces will become more stable, etc. Try to obtain them. You'll get followers by fighting Chaos factions or creating certain buildings. In addition, you can make an Invocation, which, after meeting the its conditions, will also increase the number of people supporting you.

Tzarina Katarin and Konstaltyn can use money or Devotion to weaken the position of the competitor and take 50 supporters from them. On the other hand, Borys Ursus can give one of the factions his own supporters in exchange for short-term bonuses for the country.

It is worth noting that it is not possible to conquer the other faction militarily. The dispute over the control of the lands can only be solved by dominating the rival with influence.

Invocations

Invocations are prayers to the gods for which they protect you for 10 turns and give you various bonuses. You pay for them with Devotion. There are 4 gods:

  1. Salyak: 1 follower for leveling up a hero or lord, up to 20 growth, 8% casualty replenishment rate;
  2. Dazh: 1 follower when constructing a building. 15% of income from trade, 8% income from buildings;
  3. Ursun: 5 followers for conquering settlement, attrition to enemy troops in your territory, The Bitterness of Winter army skill (a curse that weakens enemies);
  4. Tor: 2 followers when fighting a battle, Wrath of the Bear army skill (a spell that supports allied units).

Invocations can be improved with appropriate technologies.

Devotion

Devotion is earned by fighting Chaos and by building certain buildings. It serves as the currency for Invocations. You can see its current amount at the top of the screen.

At the expense of longer training, you can make decisions while training your witches. This gives you a chance to adjust them to suit your needs.
