1 – Julia Kenyon's diary
In the house in small town you'll find a diary which begins treasure hunter quest "Cat School Gear".
2 – Hidden treasure
Destroyed ship "Flying Stag", where you'll find a chest is connected to "Cat School Gear" treasure hunt quest. You;ll find there a diagram and mage's note.
3 – Hidden treasure
It's defended by quite big group of nekkers (lvl 6). Search the body laying on the ground, he's got a key. This key opens a small chest between destroyed wooden construction and stack of bodies.
4 – Hidden treasure
Treasure is in four chests - on the west island, south and under water. Drowners (lvl 10) are swimming in this water, and on the bank you'll find mucknixers (lvl 15). Treasure is connected to the "Coast of Wrecks" treasure hunt quest.
5 – Small harbour town
Small aglomeration, where you can find a notice board and Helma - your contact about one of quests. In one house you'll find a diary, which starts treasure hunting quest.
6 – Cunny of the Goose
With owner of this tavern you can play cards, also inside you can find a person, which will reward you after finishing one of witchers contract. Before tavern is located herbalist.
7 – Tide-up man - continuation
If you rescued John Verdun from drowners (M7,2) you'll meet him in this place. He wants you to take reward which are stolen money (50 crowns). You can take it or fight him and his man, but it isn't as much profitable.
8 – Monster den
Den is guarded by a group of nekkers (lvl 18). Also inside there's a Rabid Rock Troll (lvl 16). And what's the most important - there's a diagram for a sword from treasure hunting "Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3".
9 – Drahim Castle
You can find a rare steel sword schematic in the castle. It's one of the parts of the Witcher's cat school gear.
Kernun – You will have a chance to defeat the kernun after you've advanced in the "Contract: Lord of the Wood" Witcher contract quest.
Cave Troll – Rabid cave troll is guarding hidden treasure inside this cave (lvl 16).
Nekkers – Nekkers on level 12, they are spawning again after some time.
Basilisk – Basilisk on level 14.
Wyvern – Wyvern on level 18.
The White Lady – You will have a chance to defeat the shrieker after you've advanced in the "Contract: The White Lady" Witcher contract quest.
Helma – Your contact in witcher's contract "Contract: The White Lady".
Trader – Trader sells basic crafting components. Because of his location, he's the closest place, where you can sell your items in this region. Next to him you'll find also a grindstone.
Elfen Trader – Elfen trader, he's assortment of any kind.
Herbalist – He's sitting before building, but not always you can talk to him.
Farcorners - world atlas
The map above shows the Farcorners. This small location doesn't hide many interesting places - two forests, fields and a small village. It's a border that separates Novigrad from Velen with Pontar river. The map shows all the interesting places which you should visit during your journey, quick travel signposts and all stronger opponents.
Most important places in Farcorners
1. Julia Kenyon journal
In a house in the city you will find a journal lying on a desk. This journal starts the "Cat school gear" scavenger quest.
5. Port city
A small city in which you will find notice board and Helma - a contact linked to one of the quests. In one of the houses you will find a journal that starts scavenger quest as well.
6. Cunny of the Goose Inn
You can play gwent with the innkeeper; here, you will also find a person that will give you reward for the witcher contract. There is a herbalist sitting in front of the inn.
7. Tied man - continuation
If you saved John Verdun from the drowners (M2,7), you will meet him here. He will want to give you stolen money as a reward (50 crowns). You can take them or fight him and his allies. The latter won't be as profitable as taking the reward.

Elven merchant (M5,5) - Elven merchant in the woods, he has goods of all kinds.
Helma (M5,5) - Your contact in the witcher contract "The White Lady"
Herbalist (M5,6) - He sits in front of the inn, it is not always possible to talk to him.
Enemy types in Farcorners
Endrega - This insect creature that attacks with his venom. It's very fast and quite resistant. They have two types: a much smaller and less dangerous worker, and a large, scorpion-like warriors that attack with their poisonous tail and can jump to you.
Leszen - these are slightly unique monsters. They look like a doll made from wood and bones. They are very resistant but easy to defeat (if you fight with them one on one) because they are slow and don't have many special attacks. Fire is very effective against them, so use Igni sign and various bombs.
Important information related to Farcorners
Farcorners is not a good place for beginners. Suggested level for this location is 4-5, although if you only need to reach Novigrad, then by running through the fields you shouldn't meet any other opponents than bandits. If you would like to complete all markers in this location then you should be at around 12 level. You won't find many quests here and only 3 witcher contracts.
You won't find any blacksmith or a good merchant here, so it is best to immediately reach Novigrad to trade there. You will find a herbalist near one of the inns but he is not always interested in his client.
