The Witcher 3 endings - Ciri

The main quest with Cirilla has the greatest impact on the ending. During the game, by picking various dialogue options - not always consciously - you decide of her fate. Three endings are available: Ciri dies, Ciri lives - and becomes a witcher or Ciri lives and becomes an empress.

Luckily, the decisions aren't made during the whole game but rather by few specific answers in dialogues in three main quests: Blood on the Battlefield, Final Preparations and The Child of the Elder Blood.

Ending 1 - Ciri's death

To get the first ending - death of the girl - you must make three decisions out of five available from the list below:

1. During the Blood on the Battlefield quest, when Ciri won't be happy, tell her that she doesn't have to be good in everything.
2. Later in the same quest go to the emperor and take the money.
3. In the Final Preparations quest go with Cirilla to the Lodge of Sorceress.
4. The Child of the Elder Blood quest: tell to calm the girl when she will start getting angry.
5. Don't agree to visit Skjall grave when you will be asked to. Instead tell that time is of the essence.

Ending 2 - Ciri becomes a witcher

In second ending Ciri becomes a witcher. If you want to get this ending, you must pick one mandatory and two additional actions/dialogues according to the list below. They are the opposite of negative decisions that make the girl die.

1. During the Blood on the Battlefield quest, when Ciri won't be happy, tell her that you understand the burden she carry.
2. Mandatory: Later in the same quest don't go with Ciri to emperor - instead go to Velen.
3. In the Final Preparations quest convince Cirilla to go alone to the Lodge of Sorceress.
4. The Child of the Elder Blood quest: let her unload her aggression.
5. When you will be asked, go with Cirilla to Skjall grave.

Ending 3 - Ciri becomes new empress

Last possible ending, in which Ciri becomes new empress, has the greatest requirements. In addition to decisions you must complete three side quests as well. The dialogue list is almost the same as the one above - except that this time you must choose three out of five available decisions.

1. During the Blood on the Battlefield quest, when Ciri won't be happy, tell her that you understand the burden she carry.
2. Later in the same quest go to the emperor and refuse to take the reward
3. In the Final Preparations quest convince Cirilla to go alone to the Lodge of Sorceress.
4. The Child of the Elder Blood quest: let her unload her aggression.
5. When you will be asked, go with Cirilla to Skjall grave.

Additionally - as mentioned before - you must complete some side quests that will guarantee that Nilfgaard wins the war. Complete this quests from second act:

1. An Eye for an Eye
2. A Deadly Plot
3. Redania's Most Wanted

Then, in third act you must tell Dijkstra about Ciri in Blindingly Obvious quest. Thanks to that you will unlock the Reason of State quest. There you must ally yourself with Vernon Roche against Dijkstra.
