It's a small biome located under the Inactive Lava Zone. To reach it, you'll need to find a spot where lava flows down. There are few resources in the area, namely Kyanite and Crystalline Sulfur. Due to its character, the zone features no flora. You will find an alien structure, though.

The dangers are similar to those present in the Inactive Lava Zone. In addition to Warpers and hostile Lava Lizards roaming the area, you'll also encounter Lava Larvae, so watch out for your power supply. One more thing you can find in this zone is a Sea Dragon Leviathan.

In short, it's a dangerous biome, the reaching of which will require numerous vehicle upgrades. While it is very similar to the Inactive Lava Zone when it comes to resources, only here you'll find the answers regarding the planet's history.
