Subnautica: Aurora - how to enter? Subnautica Guide and Walkthrough

The wreckage of the Aurora hides many precious items, such as batteries, which is why a potential trip to the site would certainly be worth the time. That said, initially you'll be unable to enter the wreck. Only after the explosion will you be able to approach the ship.

Even getting close to the wreck will require you to wear a radiation suit. One more thing you need to watch out for when heading for the Aurora is the Reaper Leviathan that patrols the area.

The entrance to the deeper sections of the ship is blocked by scattered debris.

You can eventually get on board once you acquire the Propulsion Cannon. Its fragments, which need to be scanned for you to unlock it, can be found around the crash site, in the sections of the ship scattered far from the main wreck. You should also take with you the Repair Tool and the Laser Cutter, to help you make your way through the wreckage.
