This large biome is located in the western part of the map. It borders with as much as 6 other biomes: Sea Treader Path, Grassy Plateaus, Northwestern Mushroom Forest, Kelp Forest, and both Blood Kelp zones. The maximum depth of this biome is roughly 350 meters. The entire area, except for a few rock formations, is covered in large plains, making it an ideal place to explore using the Cyclops.

The zone features no unique resources, providing only limestone, sandstone, quartz, and salt deposits. Additionally, the area is rich in hydrothermal vents.

The biome is characterized by high levels of danger. You may encounter Sand Sharks, Warpers, and, most importantly, a large number of Reaper Leviathans. If you intend to explore this biome, it would be wise to build a small base here, and invest in scanner upgrades. This will enable you to learn the position of Reaper Leviathans and safely avoid them.
