In the room, where you have saved Rebecca, there are Ink Ribbons and a typewriter, but you do not need to save the game. You should return to the room with the animal statues, where the monkeys used to be (M3,6). Here, you need to solve another puzzle which consists in lighting up torches by the statues in the correct order. Each time, you need to stand near the statue, access Billy's inventory and use his lighter.

The first torch to light up is the one next to the statue of the stag.

The next one is the torch next to the wolf statue.

The third one is the torch by the horse statue.

Light up the fourth torch by the statue of the tiger.

Light up the fifth one by the statue of the snake.

Light up the last one by the eagle statue.

The tablet has been hidden in the fireplace

Thanks to lighting the torches up in the correct order, you open the Southern passage in this room - take it now. First, examine the Western room (M3,8). In here, you find Unity Tablet. If your inventory is full, you do not need to take it now. You can take it later, while leaving the basement. Then, check out the room to the South (M3,9).
