On this page of our guide to Resident Evil 3 Remake we have prepared a detailed description on how to solve the Clock Tower Commemoration Puzzle located at the Subway station. You can start the clock puzzle shortly after the game has started - as a reward you will earn a trophy and obtain several valuable items.
Where's Clock Tower Commemoration Puzzle?
The Clock is located in the Subway Station room, which you will reach as soon as you leave Redstone Street Station, on your way to Downtown. This is an area that you can explore after the prologue of the game and after you have met with Mikhail for the first time in a subway car.
You can interact with the clock and find out that it is incomplete - you have to find three jewels and insert them into the mechanism. You can find the crystals in any order.
Red jewel
The red gem is in the Donut Shop. You have to head to the Kitchen. In this room you can also find a storage chest and a typewriter. Pick up the Fancy Box.
Open the inventory and select the Examine option. Rotate the box so you can see the front of it - open the container. You'll find the Red Jewel.
If you want, you can go back to the clock right away with the jewel. Interact with the Clock and select the jewel from the inventory. Jill will automatically place the jewel in one of the slots.
The secret locker will open. You will get your first reward - a Hand Grenade.
Blue jewel
You can only acquire the blue jewel after you have obtained the Bolt Cutters - check a separate page of our guide if necessary.
You have to break into a supermarket on the main street by cutting the chain with Bolt Cutters. The Blue Jewel box is inside the building - this place is shown in the pictures above.
Return to the Clock and insert the Blue Jewel. Second prize is a shotgun upgrade - Tactical Stock Shotgun.
Green jewel
You can only get the green jewel after you have acquired the Lock Pick - check a separate page of our guide if need any assistance in that matter.
You have to break into the Toy Uncle toy store, which is located across the road from the supermarket described above. The store has a yellow padlock on the door, which can be opened with a lock pick. The location of the Green Jewel is shown in the pictures above.
Return to the clock and insert the green gem in the mechanism. The third prize is a Hip Pouch, which will permanently increase the inventory by 2 slots. As a reward for solving the puzzle, you will also receive the Power Stones silver trophy.
