The side quest Track down your gun in Disco Elysium is about finding Harrier's personal weapon. Read how to start the task and what are the steps to complete it.
Starting the quest
This task will begin if you fail the Drama skill check while reporting your badge missing by radio (Report your badge missing). In fact, it can start in many ways, such as when you find out about the gun from Evrart or interrogate the salesman at the pawn shop.
Pawn Shop
As soon as the journal entry appears, you can go to the pawn shop. The owner will tell you that the gun has already been sold and will give you another lead. However, he does not say directly to whom he sold it to, but only that it was a young, “terrible” woman.
Evrart
Evrart himself will tell you that the search for weapons has already begun, which Harry does not remember at all. Initially, he will try to convince you that he has it, which is not true. Getting this information is enough to complete the task.
The task will become a different quest once you complete the tasks for Evrart with opening the door and collecting signatures (because of this task, you will be able to continue on the third day) and then ask about the weapon - the task will be activated: Confront the Pigs and get your gun back.
