On this page of the Disco Elysium guide, you will find tips on how to get more money (Reál).
In Disco Elysium, you need to earn money to pay for various goods (healing items, clothes) and services in order to progress in your investigation. The main currency in Disco Elysium is called Reál. You can get rich in several ways. You can also ask some NPCs (Manana, Joyce Messier) for financial support.
When you enter a new location, highlight any interactive items (Tab or RMB) and take a good look around. In some places (on the ground, on tables, or by containers), you will find coins that you can pick up.
After getting the Yellow Plastic Bag, you can use it to collect bottles and plastic trash, which can be found literally everywhere - on the streets, in some garbage cans, or inside buildings.
After getting the bag, you can go back to the room where you started the game – you'll find a lot of bottles there.
You can sell the bottles in the Tar Machine, at the Frittte's kiosk. You will find the collection center northeast of the hotel.
After entering the store, approach the machine marked in the above image and sell the unwanted items.
The extra money (Reál) will immediately go into your pocket, but you can't expect to make much profit - one bottle is worth only 10 cents.
You can sell some unwanted items in the Pawnshop – it is located southwest of the hotel where you started the game. Once inside, talk to the owner (Roy) and see if he will want to buy anything from you.
