In Crash Bandicoot 4, you can find four special gems that will allow you to enter hidden levels. On this page of our guide, you will find out about the location of the Blue Gem and its use.
Location of the blue gem
The blue gem can be found on the Draggin' On map, on the Tranquility Falls level.
It's the most interesting gem to get. To obtain it, you must complete the entire Draggin' On level without destroying any box. Checkpoint, TNT and Nitro boxes also count. You have to avoid all of them. The only chance to save your progress is to enter the bonus stage.
You can't damage any of them. To do this, avoid opponents and box piles. When you get to the end of the map, a gem will appear.
You must complete the level to collect the gem into your equipment. But if something happens and you die, you don't have to go back for it.
Use of the blue gem
A hidden area that you will unlock after obtaining the blue gem is on the Crash Landed level.
The road will lead you to a board, where you can get a few boxes. Unfortunately, you won't get anything but the boxes, neither new outfit nor secrets.
Let's start with a surprise waiting at the beginning of the board. There will be a slippery floor. You have to be careful not to hit your opponent, or you will die immediately.
It's going to get harder. You'll find slippery platforms to jump on. If you fall, you have to repeat the entire sequence from the beginning.
It's time for the final stage of this level. You have to slip between the hands of monsters. Just run forward and make the slide whenever you have the opportunity.
When you get to the end of the board, you'll back on the Crash Landed map.
