Class description
Wizard and Witch are the same classes, where the only difference is the sex. This is a typical mage class and can use the magic here in two different ways - either to heal or to deal damage. Due to the low level of defense, the playing style based on dodging threats is suggested. Therefore, you should avoid all of the attacks lunched at you. For hunting, this class uses staves and the secondary weapon is the dagger.
Armoring
As mentioned above, the basic weapon here is the staff and the dagger is the secondary one. The weapons that you receive from completing main quests are sufficient for effective hunting for monsters and for leveling up. With time, you will gave to get something better. Just like in the case of the rest of the classes, you should obtain Liverto Staff. This one is the best and, at the same time, the most expensive weapon. This is why, until you gather enough silver to get this one, you should consider sticking with the more affordable and the less effective one - Yuria Staff. You should be using Yuria Staff throughout the majority of the game, due to the high level of attack and the option to upgrade it in any way you want. When it comes to the secondary weapon, i.e. the dagger, take interest in Steel Dagger which provides a bonus to attack.
When it comes to the armor, you should obtain, or buy, Taritas set that will provide you with a high bonus to max health. However, at the beginning of the game, you do not have access to this staff, which is why you may like Agerian that provides a bonus to speed of casting spells and speed of movement.
Just like in the case of the previous classes, focus on Barres set that boosts your attack.
Skills
Skill | Description |
Staff Attack | Staff Attack is the basic skill that you use to replenish your mana. |
Sage's Memory | Sage's Memory is a skill that temporarily reduces time necessary to cast spells. Cooldown of this skill is exceptionally long, which is why you should use only in extreme situations. |
Spellbound Heart | Spellbound Heart is a mana-regenerating skill. It works perfectly in the case of a class focused on healing. |
Mind Training | Mind Training is a passive skill that increases the speed of casting spells. |
Fireball | Fireball is an offensive skill with high damage dealt. |
Meteor Shower | Meteor Shower is an offensive skill that deals tremendous damage to all enemies within reach. |
Thunderbolt | Thunderbolt is an AoE skill that deals high damage. It also activates Black Spirit's Rage, if it is used with 100% charge. |
Healing Pharos | Healing Pharos is a skill that heals all nearby allies. |
Magical Shield | Magical Shield is a skill that absorbs some damage dealt to you and turns it into mana. |
Below, see some example combos for the Wizard:
- The first, basic, combo is Staff Attack followed by Dagger Stab. The sequence is [LMB]+[LMB]+[LMB] + [F]
- The second combo is Fireball followed by Lightning. The sequence is [S]+[LMB] + [RMB] + [S]+[F]
- The third combo is Earth's Response, Fireball, Fireball Explosion, Magical Evasion and Dagger Stab. The sequence is [D]+[LMB] + [S]+[LMB] + [RMB] + [RMB] + [2x W]+[F]
- The fourth combo is Sage's Memory followed by Earth's Response, Dagger Stab, Magical Evasion, Fireball, Fireball Explosion and Meteor Shower. The sequence is [Sage's Memory from Skills bar] + [D]+[LMB] + [F] + [SHIFT]+[S] + [S]+[LMB] + [RMB] + [S]+[Hold LPM and PPM]
- The fifth combo (for advanced players) is Teleport followed by Dagger Stab, Earthquake, Magical Evasion, Lightning, Residual Lightning, Freeze and Blizzard. The sequence is [SHIFT]+[SPACEBAR] + [F] + [SHIFT]+[F] + [SHIFT]+[S] + [S]+[F] + [RMB] + [S]+[E] + [SHIFT]+[LPM+PPM] + [LMB]
