On this page of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide, you will find a walkthrough description of the duel with the boss named Suttungr. You will learn when the confrontation with Suttungr occurs, what attacks the boss has and how to avoid them, as well as how to defeat him effectively and quickly.
The duel with Suttungr takes place during the A Feast to Remember story quest. Eivor (Havi) travels to Jotunheim to gain access to magical honey. Just as he manages to get his hands on some of the magical drink, an angry Suttungr stands in his way.
Suttungr is a formidable opponent with three weaknesses: his left knee, right elbow, and abdomen. When you hit them, you will stun him and you will be able to perform a powerful blow that will massively harm the boss's health bar.
Most of Suttungr's attacks are signaled and can be avoided without taking any damage.
Watch out for special attacks that can throw icy shards onto the battlefield - these can severely injure Eivor (Havi) and slow his movements. When Suttungr uses this ability, hide in a bright area by one of the campfires.
When the enemy's health drops below 50%, the boss will snatch one of the icicles and turn it into an axe with very long attack range. He will also gain access to an additional ability that allows him to send an ice wall towards you. When it hits the target, it will do a lot of damage.
Stay out of your opponent's range or dodge his punches, launch quick counterattacks, and strike whenever you get the chance, and you'll be able to deal with Suttungr in no time. You can't kill your opponent, so you leave him in the arena, defeated.
