In Assassin's Creed: Valhalla you can acquire pieces of gear not only through missions but also from special chests that contain interesting items. You can get a new weapon, shield or pieces of armor for free. However, some of the gear chests are hidden inside buildings, tunnels, underground, or even are under lock and key. On this page of our guide you will find out where the equipment boxes are located in the Ledecestrescire region.
Huntsman Helm
The hunter's helmet can be found in the Tonastadir location.
You need to enter the enemy's territory. It will be best if you get rid of all your opponents before completing the rest of the task.
After getting rid of the enemies, enter the building. You can easily do it with a rope that will lead you straight to the roof. From there you can jump directly on your opponent - the key is next to him.
The key is needed to open the cave door. The door is very visible because there are two banners next to it. The key will allow you to enter the enemy warehouse.
As soon as you enter the cave, you will see a gold, glowing chest. You do not need any keys to open it. Just run up to it and enjoy the new item.
Hrafn Guard
You can find Hrafna Transom in Venonis (the southern part of the map).
At first the puzzle may seem complicated because the door is closed and there is no key or second entrance in the area. However, all you have to do is jump on the tree that grows in the back of the building, then use Odin's vision to locate the lock on the door. Aim the bow straight at the lock. This way you will open the door without any problem or unnecessary noise.
Time to get the reward. It is guarded by several guards. You have to climb up, kill the guards and then destroy the wooden wall that blocks your access to the chest.
When you break through the wall you will get a shield that can be used in battle.
Fyrd Spear
You will find the spear in a cave located in the southern part of the map, near Offchurch.
To open the path to the weapon you have to destroy the damaged rock. Best to shoot the bow at the vase. This way you will not set your character on fire.
The next step is rather simple. You just have to swim into the hole in the floor. The spear is found at the bottom - you can equip it and use it against your opponents.
Skadi's Wrath
The Wrath of Skadi can be found in Ledecestre, in the caves.
Let's start with the fact that you have to enter the building through a window. This is the fastest way in. This way you will avoid enemies lurking around the buildings.
You will see a closed door, which the character will not be able to open. Simply use the ladder and climb up to the upper floor.
There is a wooden wall on the higher floor. Destroy it and then jump into the tunnel entrance. This is almost the end of the search.
The tunnel layout is simple - all you have to do is to follow the wall on your left until you reach a small room. There you'll encounter the chest hiding the bow.
Hidden Ones' Gloves
You will find this weapon in the southern part of the region, near Ledecestre.
First you have to open the passage to the tunnel. Equip the bow and shoot at the object so that the weight falls on the floor and destroys it. This way you will gain access to the cave.
At the bottom you have to slip under the walls to get further through. These areas are very visible because nothing covers them.
Eventually you will reach a room full of different objects. However, we are interested in the chest that contains the gloves. They are perfectly suited to upgrades.
Huntsman Cloak
You will find the Hunter's Coat in the nothern parts of the region.
Sneak through the camp.. There is a guard at the entrance to the tower - kill him with the hidden blade. Use the bow to shoot down a load that blocks the path to the bottom.
Now simply jump down and take the item.
Sepulcher Axe
The item can be encountered during Tilting the Balance mission. During this mission, a special door opens that holds the item.
