This page of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla's guide will explain the purpose behind Assassin's offices/hideouts. We explain how to find and explore more hiding places and crypts, as well as what prizes are offered after exploring all of them.
On the map of England, there are 6 secret locations associated with the Hidden / Assassins waiting to be discovered. These are their abandoned hiding places. These locations can be compared to the tombs from previous parts of Assassin 's Creed series . After entering a location, Eivor has to solve various environmental puzzles that allow him to pass through successive chambers. We do this in order to reach the main chamber of each hideout, where some unique Assassin equipment is located.
You'll hear about assassin's offices after talking to Hytham in your settlement. This will happen after you built an assassins' office in Ravensthorpe. Hytham will also give you a side quest Brief History of the Hidden Ones. The quest involves finding codex pages. Each hiding place holds one codex page - there are 6 of them to find.
Visiting and fully exploring all hiding places will allow you to get 6 unique Assassin items - 5 pieces of Assassin Armor Elements and 1 Assassin Dagger:
- Ratae Assassin Bureau - this hideout contains Hidden Ones' Gloves
- London Assassin Bureau - this hideout contains Hidden Ones' Mask
- Camulodunum Assassin Bureau - this hideout contains Hidden Ones' Hood
- Eboracum Assassin Bureau - this hideout contains Hidden Ones' Robes
- Temple of Ceres Assassin Bureau - this hideout contains Hidden Ones' Leggings'
- Venta Belgarum Assassin Bureau - this hideout contains Suttungr's Claw
The equiped assassin's set is presented in the picture above. The bonuses for equipping all 5 items are increased damage from sneaking attacks and increased damage from headshots.
Before you embark to explore assassin hideouts, buy Incendiary Powder Trap ability. It allows you to spend adrenaline to fire explosive arrows - this is required to solve some environmental puzzles. This ability can be most easily acquired by visiting the village of Walden in the Grantebridgescire region.
The second place where you can get the Incendiary Dust Trap ability is Briggworth in the Suthsexe region. The skill book is located on one of the floors of the large tower.
If you have Incendiary Powder Trap on level one, it will be upgraded - you will be able to have two have detonations during a single use.
You don't have to wait for Eivor to reach a high enough level of power to investigate the hiding places. You won't meet any enemies in the crypts and you can successfully explore them even with a weaker hero.
After investigating and looting all hiding places, return to Hytham with the codex pages.
Hytham will send you to Reda, the leader of the Thousand Eyes Guild, which has its outpost in the village. After talking to Reda, approach and read the letter from Bayek (the main character of AC Origins),.
Optionally, you can also return to the Hidden Ones' office and read all the Magas Codex pages you've acquired.
