Read this guide page to find out if there are important choices in Assassin's Creed Valhalla that can have an impact on the campaign. We also inform whether AC Valhalla has different endings.
Below you will find only general information about the choices and two exemplary ones from the initial chapters of the game. We have not posted any spoilers from the rest of the campaign. A list of important choices and their consequences can be found in our walkthrough.
Yes, there will be different choices in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and this is due to the fact that the game has many features of a non-linear RPG. They can be divided into two main groups:
The first category is the minor choices. They are characterized by the fact that they do not have a significant impact on the campaign. The selected dialog or behavior option may, for example, affect the course of a single conversation or slightly change a fragment of a single quest. However, these are not important changes.
The second category is major and important choices, i.e. those that can have a visible impact on the further course of the campaign. These choices can influence, for example, how the characters will behave at key moments of the plot or whether Eivor will manage to gain important allies in their conquests. An example of the first choice is shown in the picture above - when planning your first trip to England you can decide to take the previously acquired supplies or leave them in Norway. Your decision will influence Styrbjorn's attitude towards the protagonist.
Some choices have a time limit, i.e. you have to make a decision before the yellow bar depletes. If you don't do this, the game will make a choice for you – it can pick something that you won't like.
The game has more than one ending. The ending will depend on important choices made at key moments of the campaign.
Unfortunately, the game does not mark important choices in any way. We recommend making a quick save before each conversation so that you can do it again and behave in a different way.
