Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Trophies / achievements list Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide, walkthrough

This page contains a trophy guide for AC Valhalla. You will find tips on how to get all the trophies and unlock the platinum trophy.

Last update: 11 January 2024

On this page, you will find the trophy guide for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. This page includes descriptions of all 51 trophies. You will learn the requirements for each achievement, how to unlock trophies, and how to get a platinum trophy.

Key information about AC Valhalla trophies

  1. Assassin's Creed Valhalla has 51 trophies – 1 platinum (only available on PS4/PS5), 1 gold trophy, 14 silver, and 35 bronze.
  2. The platinum trophy in AC Valhalla is very time-consuming. Obtaining it will definitely take you more than 100 hours. This is mainly due to the silver trophy Completionist All the Way! which forces you to complete of all territories. This simply means that you have to find 100% collectibles and complete 100% of the activities available in the game.
  3. You can play at any level of difficulty, including low settings for fighting, stealth, and exploring. This also applies to the achievement Overdesign 2 achievement - despite the description, it can be obtained on any difficulty level.
  4. All trophies are obtained in single player mode. AC Valhalla has some social elements including limited interactions with other players (e.g. Recruiting Jomsvikings of other players), but none of them are related to trophies.
  5. There are no trophies associated with choices and different endings of the game. You can choose any option in quests where Eivor has to make an important decision. Your choices won't cross your chances of unlocking an achievement. It should be noted that the game does not allow you to repeat missions, but trophies unrelated to progress in the main story can be unlocked during a world exploration.
  6. The remaining trophies are not very problematic. A lot of them are related to the main storyline. Several achievements also include acquiring legendary items, such as the Excalibur or Thor's hammer. You can get them by searching for secrets and discovering the map of the world.

Hytham will explain to Eivor all the details about the Order of the Ancients.

In a separate tab in the pause menu, you will find members of the Order of the Ancients tree. You must identify them by finding traces, reaching their whereabouts, and then kill them. Witch Hunter

Trophy type: bronze - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Defeat one Daughter of Lerion.

Comment: Daughter of Lerion are optional bosses in the game. They have some sort of paranormal abilities which make eliminating them much harder than dealing with "regular" bosses or zealots.

Goneril is the least challenging Daughter of Lerion - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Goneril is the least challenging Daughter of Lerion. Her lair is shown in the picture - it is located in the northeastern corner of the Grantebridgescire region.

Goneril has 90 Power points. Due to the fact that the battle with her is very challenging, it is recommended to face her once your character is at least twice stronger. You should also take with you as much adrenaline and food as possible.

Equine Attack

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Assassinate an enemy from your horse.

Silent Viking

Trophy type: bronze - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Assassinate 10 enemies in a row without triggering a conflict.

Comment: This is not a very demanding trophy. To unlock it, choose any location with a large number of opponents and who will not expect an appearance of Eivor (so it can't be an open attack on the fort or monastery).

Kill enemies using a Hidden Blade and stay undetected in the meantime (so that the red detection marker doesn't appear). It's worth to hide in the high grass and whistle to pull away individual opponents.

Everyday Life

Trophy type: bronze - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Complete 10 World Events.

Comment: Events are one of the secrets on the world map - they are all kinds of small quests, for example, in which we can do someone a favor.

During the game, you will surely complete much more than 10 events, especially as they are a good way to collect XP. You can find information about the places of events and their course in our walkthrough.

Overdesign 2

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: While on fire during a fight, kill 3 hard difficulty soldiers without breaking their shields.

Comment: The most important point - this one isn't related to playing on hard difficulty level, but to opponent's Power level. It must be much higher than Eivor's level. Such difference in power makes an opponent hard to defeat. For this achievement to count, you must defeat enemies with a red skull icon above their heads.

You can try obtaining this trophy in any region with high Power, for example in Hamtunscire shown in the picture. Suggested Power in that region is 340 points. It is unlikely that you will be able to get close to this level while playing through the campaign. Even if that happens, you can "artificially" reduce Eivor's powers by removing skills from the skill tree.

Soldiers with shields can be most easily encountered at the city entrances, but they can be also found in various military camps - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Soldiers with shields can be most easily encountered at the city entrances, but they can be also found in various military camps. When you encounter them, initiate battle, but don't kill them.

Find a campfire or make a fire, for example by setting an oil puddle on fire or by using an explosive arrow. Your objective is to set Eivor on fire. Once you achieve it, finish the fight with the enemies with shields.

This trophy can be obtained easier when playing on easy difficulty level. Lower difficulty level will reduce the risk of dying due to successful attacks of enemies with higher Power. Additionally, Eivor won't be losing health as quickly after he/she is knocked down.

Completionist All the Way!

Trophy type: silver - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Complete all territories.

Comment: This is by far the most time-consuming trophy in the game. It requires completing all territories/regions in 100%, i.e. to find and gain/complete all secrets and optional activities.

Information about progress in completing the region is displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen. Separate progress bars are dedicated to Wealth, Mysteries, and Artifacts. Information about what is included in each of these categories can be found on a separate page Multi-colored points on the map from the FAQ chapter.

Row Rage

Comment: We have described this achievement in more detail on a separate page of the trophy guide.

We're in the End Game Now

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Reach Power 280.

Comments: The hero's power is increased by gaining new skill points and spending them on the skill tree. Skill points can be earned primarily through advance to higher levels of experience, but also by completing Standing Stones.

For more information and hints, see the Suggested Power and Acquiring XP faster.

A Picture of Grace

Trophy type: bronze

Builder

Trophy type: bronze - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Reach settlement level 6.

Comment: The Ravensthorpe Settlement can be upgraded by expanding it by putting more buildings, such as hunters' hut, port, or barracks. You will need a lot of crafting materials for this. You have complete freedom in which order you want to put buildings, although choosing those that use less material allows you to advance a little faster. For more information, see the Settlement chapter.

Home Decor

Trophy type: bronze - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Place an item on each settlement cosmetic spot.

Comment: In different parts of the Ravensthorpe settlement, you can find interactive stands, thanks to which you can beautify it with the help of cosmetic items. It doesn't matter which cosmetic item you choose. You can even place the same favorite cosmetic item in all spots.

There are 16 spots in the Settlement where you can choose decorations. Unfortunately, they are not all immediately available. New spots will appear in Ravensthorpe as you progress through the game and construct new buildings.

In order to unlock the achievement, you must acquire at least 4 Ranged Abilities and 4 Melee Abilities. Assign 4 Ranged and 4 Melee abilities to the pad buttons (X, Square, Triangle, Circle on PS4/PS5).

For more information, see the Abilities page. In our world atlas, you will also find information about where to find Books of Knowledge.

Ultimate Refinement

Trophy type: silver - Assassins Creed Valhalla: Trophies/achievements list - Trophy guide - Assassins Creed Valhalla Guide

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Fully upgrade and enhance a piece of gear.

Comment: One of the trophies you will probably get later in the game. It requires obtaining a large number of different raw materials for crafting, including many rarer ones. You can enhance any weapon or any armor from your inventory. Your task is:

  1. Increasing the quality of an item to a Mythical level. To do so, you must give Gunnar ingots of appropriate quality. We recommend upgrading small armor parts, for example the gloves as in the example shown in the picture. They require only 1 nickel ingot and 1 tungsten ingot in order to upgrade them to Mythical Quality. In case of the weapon, you might require to have 3 pieces of rare types of ingots.
  2. Purchase all possible upgrades to this item. Crafting materials are used to "finance" upgrades. Sadly, as the items are upgraded, they require more mare materials like fabrics or Titanium Ingots. These types of items are easier to found in endgame regions, the ones with higher Power.

More information can be found on the pages Equipment - how to upgrade?, Ingots and Crafting materials in the FAQ chapter.

The first character you can get into the flyting with is Alvis from Fornburg. You can find more flyting opponents in other regions of the world - look for the mask icon especially in villages and cities.

It's worth to save the game before each flyting, so if you lose, you don't lose your silver. Each successful duel will increase Eivor's charisma by 1.
