Here you can find the guide for Frequency quest. This is one of the Heleus Assignments (side quests) in Mass Effect: Andromeda game. You can start this quest during your stay on Voeld. In this mission you must identify the source of suspicious distortions.
Unlocking the quest
This quest is unlocked after arriving at Hjara research station, which is located in the center of planet Voeld. There you can meet with Irritated Researcher that can tell you about an unidentified distortions. Offer your help by investigating the problem and start your research by examining the devices near the quest giver.
Find the source of distortions
The area that you must investigate is west from the place where you start the quest. When you reach your destination you find a meteorite. Be cautious because when you get closer to it your team will be attacked by a group of wild Adhi. The best solution for this fight is to constantly be on the move and keep your distance from the monsters.
Scan the meteorite
After the fight you must scan the meteorite and then interact with it in order to silence the signal that it sends. This process is interrupted by another group of Adhi creatures. Just like before, this group also must be killed. Then, you can finish the process.
The quest ends with your decision regarding the meteorite - you can decide to take it on Nexus in order to examine it more closely or leave it here.
