As Miguel de Castro, son of the duke, who is accused of collusion with Satan and imprisoned by Inquisition, you need to find a way to escape:
Free yourself from shackles
Come closer to the prison cell's door (on the left). Click the arrow, you will see another room where the jailer is sleeping. Click the jailer, you have two options - look at him in the zoom, or talk to him (a magnifying glass and balloon icon above guard's head). While looking at the guard, click the pulsating white circles which are appearing on his silhouette.
Jailer's observation:
- scar on the left cheek (from the player's view);
- red stains on the stomach (on the right);
- belt buckle;
- beer mug in the right hand (turn the jailer aside);
- left hand (turn the jailer aside).
During the conversation choose all options - after threatening man in the name of Satan, or tempting him with supernatural powers, or ensuring Miguel's innocence, in your inventory will appear an information (which you can use as an item) about the guard being skeptic; when you talk about the hog, you will get the information about blood.
Come back to the cell (the arrow on the cell door).
Look at the illuminated round spot in the back of the cell. Examine the body of Alonso, son of the cook.
Observation of the hanging body of Alonso:
- upper part of the rope;
- no pulse (neck);
- nose;
- knot (near the left arm - from player's view).
Observation of the lying Alonso's body:
- right cheek;
- no pulse on the neck;
- parchment roll on the chest;
- patch on the chest;
- pouch on the belt.
During the examination of the dead body you will get the information about using Alonso's clothes (nose or cheek), and devilish poisoning toad and parchment roll. In the zoom turn around the roll to open it and read the news. Take longitudinal piece of metal which was inside the roll. Finally, look at the rope hanging above Alonso's body.
In the inventory click the character icon (in the middle) and look at Miguel in the zoom.
Observation of Miguel:
- mark on the left (from player's view) cheek;
- left arm;
- left forearm (aside);
- right hand (aside);
- right knee;
- shackles on the left leg;
- left ankle (from aside, after removing the shackles).
Click the shackles to zoom in (to see white pulsating circle). In the inventory click the piece of metal - Miguel will free himself.
Escape from the cell
Come closer to the wooden shelf. Take a piece of cloth (on the right). Move to the left, look at the symbol of Satan. Take an empty mug. Notice dry stain of blood.
Examine the cauldron (on the right; another subject to talk about with the jailer - look inside, look at the middle part of it, and on the fireplace). Notice stocks in the bottom right corner (subject to talk about with the jailer).
Take an iron bar (near the pillar) and boot (on the bottom of the screen; another subject to talk about with the jailer). Look at the hog.
Observation of the hog:
- little above the snout;
- stomach;
- shackles on the back leg.
Now go to the corridor. Look at the antler (near the cell, notice both deer's antlers and raven's beak), notice also iron virgin standing in the corner (next subject to talk about with the jailer), Inquisition's flag and dungeon's exit, and look at the beer barrel. (If you use mug on the barrel, you will get a Last Call achievement).Talk with the jailer, choose new options.
In the inventory click the mug, then the toad and jailer's icon. You will get toad's poison. (If you try to put the toad into the cauldron, you will get Witch Recipe achievement). Now click the cauldron (the fireplace) and put into the fireplace the metal bar. Touch the hog's stomach by using the hot bar. When the jailer throw the mug to silence the hog, replace his mug with the mug with poison (click the jailer's mug to zoom in, then click the mug in Miguel's inventory). You need to be quick, if the jailer pick his mug before you can replace it with the one with poison, you need to start from the beginning (from heating the bar).
When the guard drink from the mug with poison, in the inventory will appear icon of devil. Click Miguel's icon in the inventory. Click the white pulsating circle on Miguel's left forearm. Use the boot on his forearm, then use piece of cloth and hog's icon (blood) on the forearm. You will get blood-stained piece of cloth.
Come back to the cell and look at Alonso's body. Look at his face (white pulsating circle) and put the blood-stained piece of cloth on it. Use the devil's icon.
(If you examine all hotspots in the dungeon: on characters, objects and items - also items which you have in your inventory, you will get Dungeon's master achievement. For escaping from prison you will get a Filium Diaboli achievement.
During the conversation with the monk choose whatever options you want.
