Warframe - Interface - Main Menu Warframe Guide & Walkthrough

In this section, you will learn how to navigate the main menu in Warframe in search for key topics - where you can find the star map, how to set equipment, check the codex and missions. The main menu can be opened by pressing ESC. You can also walk in foot through the location or the ship, but this method takes much more time.

1. Information about the team

Here you can check who exactly you have in your team and here you can set how you want to play - Alone, only with friends, only with invited players or you can set the game to the public. The latter will enable the game to add random players.

2. Navigation

The star map enables you to check the current situation - what missions you can select, what locations can be unlocked and where to collect needed resources. More about it can be found in "Interface - star map".

3. Equipment

The equipment tab features much more functions than it name suggest. After selecting you can select your arsenal, craft items in the workshop, breed a companion in the incubator; buy items and Warframe on the market. In communication, you can check your check, friends list and your clan. By selecting quests you can check the ones you completed and the ones you still can complete. There you can also check the requirements for completing them. The Profile will show you all statistics and achievements you obtained. Options will take you to the menu where you can adapt the game to your needs - you can change display settings, sounds, controls and interface. Leave game button will enable you to exit the game.

4. Operator

The operator button enables you to set the look of Warframe operator and distribute the Focus points. More information about the Focus mechanics can be found in the chapter "Focus 2.0".

5. Market

The market will take you to a screen where you can buy equipment, plans, Warframe and decoration for in-game currency: Credits and Platinum.

6. Communication

Here you will find your saved friends. You can add them, check your mailbox and start your clan (or see information about the clan you belong to).

7. Quests

The quests take you to the codex screen. It's a list of all mechanics in the game. This includes mods, factions, Warframe, companions, quests and training.

8. Profile

Here you will find the codex as well. In addition to that, in the profile you can check information about and statistics of your profile, your position in rankings, your relations with the syndicates, and the type of glyph (avatar). Here you can also log out.
