On this page of our guide to Uncharted Drake's Fortune you can find a detailed description of Chapter 8 - The Drowned City. These are another ruins to explore, where you will encounter more hostile characters. They are partially flooded, but you can explore them with a jet ski.

After getting out of the water, Nate killed his enemies on the slope.[1] Later, both heroes went inside the ruins, where they defeated more bandits while hiding behind a column.[2] Unfortunately, enemy reinforcements have appeared.

Before they moved on, Drake went to the right of the column that served for his cover - he found a treasure in the corner of the room among the plants (Decorated Silver Ring).[1] After that, Nate opened the metal grating by using a special mechanism.[2]

There was a jet ski floating in the water. Nate and Elena have decided to use it as a mean of transport. On the way Elena was shooting the barrels floating on the water and fired at bandits lurking in different alleys.[1] In the first area with barrels there was 1 opponent in front of the heroes. In the second area there were two enemies, one on the left and one on the right. Afterwards it was only worse - the enemies were lurking on the roofs, balconies and even in the bushes.[2]

After defeating this group of enemies, the heroes set off to a larger area by turning left. Here they had to quickly kill an enemy equipped with a grenade launcher. [1] Finally, the narrow pathways have ended - the heroes have managed to jump out into an open area by using the metal plates. They've reached the fortress on the other side of the water and dismounted the jet ski.[2]

After going further, Nate focused on the left side - enemies started to shoot at our heroes near the bridge. He defeated them while covering behind the rock, also by using a rifle hidden near the crate in front of him.[1] When he ran over the bridge, new bandits have appeared. After he killed all enemies, he passed the next corner and saw an open marketplace on the left, which was full of enemies. He hid quickly, because in the middle of the marketplace (on the platform) there was a dangerous bandit equipped with a grenade launcher.[2] Nathan defeated his enemy.

After killing a few enemies, the hero climbed the aforementioned elevation and picked up a grenade launcher left by the killed enemy. Then, he eliminated several more bandits who appeared on the opposite side on the ground floor.[1] Later, he returned to the rifle (which he used earlier), ran downstairs and hid behind the wall near the stairs - more hostile bandits have ran out of the ruins. [2]

After entering the ruins of the former house, Nate finished off the remaining enemies (1) and went to the right corner (2).[1] There he found a Silver Frog.[2]

After that, Nate ran up the stairs and went out on a little balcony. From it, he jumped onto the adjacent balcony and onto the wall - at this particular spot he had to quickly get rid of one enemy. When the bandit fell dead into the water Drake made another stunt and got to the wooden platform.[1] There he opened the big gate and Elena sailed towards him.[2]
