This page contains information on how long will it take to complete Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The time, of course, depends on how much you want to get out of the game - you can limit yourself to completing the main story or you can decide to find all 101 collectibles and get all the trophies.
- The campaign should take you around 10-11 hours. This time is for the standard normal difficulty level. You have to consider that the game can take you much longer if you decide to choose hard or crushing difficulty level. If you do so, it is highly probable that you will have to repeat the more challenging battles. The puzzles can also affect your playtime. We recommend using our walkthrough if find some puzzles hindering your progress.
- Finding all 101 treasures is time-consuming, but most of them can be acquired by simply following the plot. Luckily, if you have missed a secret, you can easily go back to it by replaying a specific chapter (you can do that at any level of difficulty). In the worst case, expect the total play time to be increased by several hours.
- The platinum trophy should take you around 20 hours. This time is for Uncharted 2 Remastered available on the PlayStation 4. This edition allows you to immediately select the Crushing difficulty level (on the PS3, this mode required the player to beat the game on hard first). After completing the game and getting all the collectibles, you will be left with a few combat-related trophies and three trophies requiring you to speedrun the chapters.
- The trophies for The Nathan Drake Collection are only available on PS4 and extend the playtime up to a few hours. They are fortunately not required to unlock the platinum trophy, so you can skip the ones that seem too difficult or very annoying to you. The ones worth mentioning are Needer for Speeder (beat the whole game in less than 3 hours and 30 minutes) and Charted! - Brutal (you must complete the entire campaign on Brutal difficulty).
