Item crafting is the element that makes Bard's Tale IV much easier to play. Thanks to this you can craft items that will help your team during combat and exploration. In this chapter you will learn everything about this aspect of the game.
Basic items
The basic items are the elements that form the core of all the items in the game. They are in most cases easily accessible. From them you can produce a large part of the items and the more complex raw materials necessary for the production of more advanced items. The most common basic items are:

All these resources can be found in chests scattered around the game world. On the other hand, you may encounter plants growing in different places on almost every map.
Crafting process
The crafting process itself is very intuitive. Entering the "Crafting" menu using the equipment panel on the left side you will see a list of all available items that you can create [1]. There are two color codes: yellow and grey. Yellow means those items for which you have enough raw materials to create. In the case of gray items you need to find additional resources. You can find out what you are missing by clicking on a particular recipe [2]. There you will find all the information about the missing raw materials. This way you will be able to find out what you are missing.
If you already have all the required items, you only need to create them. For this purpose, after selecting the appropriate recipe, under the list of required components, the button "Create item"[3] should appear. After pressing it, the created item should automatically appear in your inventory.
