Saving the game in Sniper Elite 5 can protect you from dying or open confrontation. Luckily, you don't have to rely solely on the saves that the game creates. Our guide will explain to you when you can save the game manually.
Sniper Elite saves are divided into 2 groups:
- Automatic saves - They are created at some points in the game, e.g. after you complete a mission objective or when you approach a larger location.
- Manual saves - You should definitely use them. You can create a manual save in the pause menu and use different slots. The game may temporarily block the option to save the progress, for example, if your character is currently completing an action (sabotage, swapping or reloading weapons, etc.) or when it is attacked by enemy soldiers.
Each save you create has additional information in its description. You can find out about the duration of the mission, the type of game (solo or co-op), the selected difficulty level, the level of alerting the opponents, and the last completed mission objective (it's useful if you have created many different saves for the same campaign mission).
