You can play Ring of Elysium alone or in teams (two- or four-person). To play with your friends the first thing you have to do is to invite them. You can also play with strangers, but this option requires you to create your own server.
Playing with friends
To invite friends, move the cursor on the Friends icon (right side of the screen).
This displays the list of your current friends. If you want to invite another person, click on Add Friend button.
Select the Duo option to play with another teammate. When you do that, you will be able to invite one of your friends to join you.
When playing with a friend, you can both choose where you want to start a match. Together, you can collect equipment, eliminate enemies, and try to escape from the map. Your friend is always displayed on the map.
Playing with random players
If you want to play with random players, the game gives you the option to create a team - simply click on Share team button.
Select your team and prepare yourself to play with other players.
Custom match
Currently, the game doesn't allow players to create their own matches that can be played only by those who got invited.
