Use the only available exit from the area with the shaft. In the next room, you will find the Factory Map (Upper Levels). You may optionally push aside the wagon pictured above. This will unlock access to the tunnel leading to the side room. The most important object you'll find there is the Ball Mold. You can use it to create a ball in the Casting Mold on floor MB4 and then solve the Labyrinth Puzzle next to the elevator with Duke on floor B4.

Fighting the Panzer Soldat super soldiers

Unfortunately, on the way from the casting machine to the elevator traveling to level B1, you will encounter two Soldat Panzer supersoldiers - this is the strongest among the "standard" varieties of these enemies - Resident Evil Village: Reaching floor B1, creating a key - walkthrough - Factory - Resident Evil Village Guide

Unfortunately, on the way from the casting machine to the elevator traveling to level B1, you will encounter two Soldat Panzer supersoldiers - this is the strongest among the "standard" varieties of these enemies.

You have two options here:

  1. If you want to fight the Panzers, use a grenade launcher first and aim at their front armor. Only once the chest armor is destroyed will the red core be revealed, which you can target to defeat the monster.
  2. If you want to avoid a fight, you will unfortunately have to retreat to a wider location and wait for the Panzer to arrive. These are very large enemies that by default will occupy the entire width of the corridors where they appear. Pass by the Panzer while they are finishing one of their slow attacks.
