Complete RDO's prologue to set up your first camp. Just like with Dutch's gang hideout, you can visit your camp and customize it. A camp is also important when you are playing with a posse.
All posses must set up a camp - it will serve as their main base. You share this place with other members of your small community of gunslingers. Here, you can use your wardrobe, craft weapons, and curatives, rest or use the fast travel option (provided that you have unlocked this option).
Size and location of your camp in Red Dead Online
Choose the location and the size of your camp. Setting up a camp, moving it or increasing its size requires a fee. Also, the game requires the leader to pay an administration fee (costs of living). The camp is marked on your and other members' map.
The posse leader has the option to customize the camp - speak with Cripps. You can, i.e. buy various elements, and personalize your camp.
Raising the white flag
The camp menu allows you to raise/lower the white flag. This allows you to protect your camp from getting attacked by hostile players.
