Fights and unique places in Grave of the Ancients

Before going to the Forbidden City, equip your party with many EMP grenades (every character should have at least one of them) and with the skills useful for fighting with bots (e.g Circuit Breaker). In this and next location, you will fight with high-level robots.

Soon after you start exploring the map, you should find the first note and run into the Mimir Z200 robot - Grave of the Ancients | Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden World Atlas - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Soon after you start exploring the map, you should find the first note and run into the Mimir Z200 robot. It shouldn't be very difficult to defeat it, but note that all bots in this location are at level 60 and have more energy points.

The bad news is that attacking the flying robot will probably alert all the other machines. You have to act quickly. Split your party members and place them inside the ruined buildings, but not near the walls - the Z200 robots can easily destroy them. Instead, try to choose covers in the rooms on the ground floor or on the first floor. The enemies will have to take care of them first.

You'll have to fight two Mimir Z200 and one Mimir Z600 first. Z200 types are more dangerous because they can fly and their attacks can pierce the walls. Try to fight one at the time by stunning the second one. You should destroy them by 2 turns (if the whole party will focus on them).

The Z600 mech isnt much of a threat - Grave of the Ancients | Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden World Atlas - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

The Z600 mech isn't much of a threat. His firing attacks set your characters on fire and take 2 health points. The bigger problem is that it can break through the walls and destroy covers (example in the picture above). It's best to use EMP grenade or Circuit Breaker skill to immobilize it for a while. That way, you can focus on Z200 machines.

Note - don't forget, that the Z600 mech explodes after being destroyed. The walls of the building and upper floor can collapse.

The Polis-Bots also take part in the fight, but they are on the opposite end of the map - Grave of the Ancients | Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden World Atlas - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

The Polis-Bots also take part in the fight, but they are on the opposite end of the map. Unlike the Z200 and Z600, they are passive at the beginning, so don't use the points to attack them. Instead, focus on destroying the Z200 machines and then on the Z600 mech.

When you start fighting them, remember that the Enforcer type can jump long distances. Hide outside the buildings but note that it can jump on the floor if the building doesn't have a roof.

After finishing the battles, search the area. The Z600 mech will leave a few weapon parts. Additionally, you can find a second note and a chest with Mirmir weapon - PC98. It has decent base damage and can pierce through the covers.
