Virtually every new location in Metro Exodus is completely different from the previous one and offers a completely different experience. Many times, you would like to return to the old locations, for example, to search them more thoroughly. But is it possible to do that in the game?
Unfortunately, once we say goodbye to a given location, we can no longer return to it. Very often it is justified by the plot because practically every map in the game has a defined main goal and after its completion, Artyom and the rest of the crew leave on Aurora. So, it's a good idea to carefully search the entire map to make sure we haven't missed anything before you complete all the missions in your region.
In the game menu, you can repeat chapters and maps unlocked earlier in the game, but then we start the game from the beginning of a given mission. What's more, our current autosave is overwritten, so it's a good idea to wait with this until we finish the plot in the game.
