On this page of our guide to Layers of Fear 2 we describe the exploration of the office in act 3. This is one of the rooms in the house that you need to explore during the passage of the third act. Visit to the office requires you to create a space rocket. After you get on board of the rocket you have to launch it to start a "space journey".
You need to repeat all the well-known steps associated with a short trip from the projection room to a new room at home. Start off, of course, from obtaining the Office key hanging at the entrance to the ventilation shaft.
In the ventilation shaft you will find captain's hat. Complete your journey to the interior of the house which ends by jumping through a hole in the floor. Use the extra help from the line and arrows to get to the office entrance and use the key to open the door.
In the office, examine the dimly lit shelf to find a new drawing. Also, check the office drawer because it has a new slide (image above).
You have to solve the puzzle with a rocket that requires you to complete the device and launch it. You need to find the three missing metal elements of the rocket.
The first fragment is next of the rocket. Two more are in other parts of the office. Return with each of them to the rocket to install it (as shown in the picture).
Installing metal components is not all, because you still need to take care of the power delivery. Find the power cable and drag it to the electric socket. Then press the button on the wall to launch the rocket.
You can already approach the rocket and interact with the viewfinder. You get inside the rocket, and begin "space flight". During the flight, use the side arrow keys to avoid collisions with obstacles. Some of them are hard to notice once the horizon gets lit up. You have to react quickly.
If you complete the entire flight without any "bumps", you will be rewarded with Rocket Science achievement. In case of an error, you can stop the game, return to the main menu and start from the last checkpoint. After the completed flight, take a short walk to the room with the projector.
