Last update: 03 September 2018

Graveyard Keeper lets you get into dungeons to get additional resources and fulfill mission requirements. There, you can get boards, nails and other metal objects.

How to get to the dungeons?

You need the Active key if you want Snake to open the Dungeon. This quest is available since the very beginning of the game. You have to get to the Astrologist first and give him the skull. In order to get the skull, you need the hardspares skill first. It allows you to extract bones from graves. Yuck.

Check the crates and the equipment - see whether you can get a better sword. If that's possible, do it. The sword can be created from any heavy resource, 4 simple iron parts, and 2 ropes.

If you got a new sword, make sure it's equipped. The game often puts new items into the inventory but doesn't put them into the hand slot so they're not used.

Valuable info regarding Graveyard Keeper

Here we have a few rules and pieces of advice that will make combat in the dungeons easier in Graveyard Keeper. Combat isn't really difficult itself, but it's time-consuming. We tried to list some rules that should make things easier.

Dungeons have 15 levels - it's pretty easy to go through them and see what monsters are there.

Killed monsters don't respawn - once you've cleared a floor, there won't be any monsters there anymore. This allows you to go back there and collect the resources.

Resources don't spawn either - Make sure you collect all of them and hide them in crates to be able to manage them later.

Break vases - use an old sword to break old vases - you could drop a heal potion, Metal strap or Crop Seeds.

Destroy barrels - the barrels can drop crop seeds, nails or a heal potion.

Before going to a lower floor, clear the current level - doors won't open otherwise.

You're not immortal! If your HP is low, retreat and come back later unless you want to get home fast.

If you need to get home quick - die. Death doesn't bring any negative consequences - you can use it as a fast travel system.
