CZ-75b

CZ-75b is characterized by high stability and accuracy and is capable of dealing the highest damage among all other handguns available in Feat the Wolves. Unfortunately, all that comes with low rate of fire and a small clip size.

1. When using this weapon, you should aim for the head of the opponent. This will allow you to kill your foe with the least amount of bullets.
2. CZ-75b is the most effective at a range up to 20 meters. The pistol loses damage when firing at a target further away than that distance.
3. Thanks to the damage dealt by CZ-75b, you should be able to win most of the encounters during the early stage of the game.
4. Given the fact that the CZ-75b is the worst pistol in the game, you should swap it for a better weapon as quickly as you have a chance to do so.

Fort 17

Fort 17 is a little better weapon that the above described CZ-75b due to its higher rate of fire, but its stats are not the best either. Similarly to the mentioned handgun, Fort 17 also suffers from a small clip size.

APS is the only pistol in Fear the Wolves that has an automatic fire mode, capable of shooting multiple bullets in a short amount of time, dealing higher damage. What is more, APS has the highest clip size among all of the pistols in the game. Unfortunately, the accuracy of the weapon is far from perfect.

1. APS is the most effective at a range up to 20 meters. The pistol loses damage when firing at a target further away than that distance.
2. APS can be found in most buildings, giving you an easy access to the weapon and allowing you to quickly accommodate yourself to it.
3. If you manage to find a silencer in the early stage of the game, you will be able to surprise your enemies.

Beretta 93R

The best part of Beretta 93R is its rate of fire. What is more, the weapon deals high damage and is the only one with the burst fire mode, capable of instantly killing an enemy. The weapon is moderately stable, allowing you to perform accurate shots, but only from a short distance.

1. Beretta 93R is the most effective at a range up to 20 meters. The pistol loses damage when firing at a target further away than that distance.
2. If the enemy is running away from you and gaining distance, you might need to change the weapon that is more accurate on longer distances.
3. Beretta 93R is the most effective pistol available at the moment. You should swap every handgun and pick Beretta instead whenever you have a chance to do so.

TOZ-34

TOZ-34 deals huge damage, but you will be able to fire it only twice before reloading. TOZ-34 is capable of killing the enemy with a single shot, but you must be standing very close to the opponent for that to happen - this in turn means that you will need to constantly wait for a prey around the corners or inside the buildings.

Remington 870 deals slightly lower damage than TOZ-34, but the difference is almost marginal. What is important is the fact that Remington 870 can fire four times before it needs to be reloaded, making it more effective than the above described one.

2. Similarly to the rest of the shotguns, Remington 870 can be used in indoor fights (when inside buildings), when the enemy is close to you and has no chance to run away.

Vepr-12 is characterized by the highest clip size (6 bullets in the clip +1 in the chamber after reloading), as well as the highest rate of fire. It, however, deals the lowest damage from this group of weapons. Still, this is the best shotgun available in the game.

2. When firing, try to use short bursts of bullets, instead of longer series - this will allow you to control the recoil of the weapon.

UZI is probably the best choice from the SMGs when it comes to combat on close and medium range. It has a solid rate of fire, allowing you to quickly cause serious damage to the enemy. What is more, the weapon has good accuracy.

AK-74 has the worst stability and accuracy from the assault rifle group. What is more, the rate of fire of AK-74 also does not look good when compared to other weapons of this category.

2. The best way to control the recoil of the weapon is to fire short, 3-5 bullet series.

M4

M4 is characterized by significantly better rate of fire, accuracy and rate of fire than the AK-74. Unfortunately, with M4 you will only be able to use two firing modes - single firing and burst fire mode, no automatic firing mode.

2. M4 does not have an automatic firing mode, which is why it is not the best choice for a primary weapon.

RPD is, at the moment, the only LMG (Light Machine Gun) in the game and, unfortunately, the stats of the weapon are not the best. The stats of RPD are even lower than those of most of the assault rifles. The biggest advantage of the RPD is the clip size, allowing it to store up to 100 bullets. Thanks to that you will not have to worry about reloading the weapon.

2. If you have the chance to use a different primary weapon, there is no point in choosing RPD.

VSS Vinteroz is characterized by the highest rate of fire, accuracy and stability from the sniper rifles, but it deals the lowest damage from that group of weapons.

1. VSS Vinteroz comes equipped with a silencer and the player has the ability to switch between two firing modes: semi-automatic (single shots) and fully automatic.
2. VSS Vinteroz is the most effective at a range up to 75 meters. The sniper rifle loses damage when firing at a target further away than that distance.
3. To take full advantage of the automatic firing mode, you will need to get an additional magazine.

SVU

SVU deals considerably higher damage than the previously described sniper rifle, but it has lower rate of fire, accuracy and stability. Despite these flaws, the SVU is still a powerful weapon.

2. Aim carefully before you shoot at the enemy. When the foe notices that he/she was attacked and counterattacks, you might not get a second chance to perform an accurate shot.

SV98

SV98 deals the highest damage from all of the sniper rifles available in the game. Unfortunately, it has extremely low rate of fire and it needs to be reloaded after each shot. SV98 is characterized by good accuracy and stability.

2. To use SV98 effectively, you need to hit the head of the enemy to take him/her down in a single shot. Otherwise you will need 2 shots in the torso.

Stun grenade

Stun grenade is capable of stunning the enemy for up to 6 seconds. During that time the enemy will have a limited control of their character.

1. Stun grenade is useful when you want to get rid of an enemy hiding inside a building or behind some obstacle and you cannot get to him/her safely. A stunned enemy is definitely easier to eliminate.
2. The range of the stun grenade is quite large, you can throw it from a considerable distance.

Smoke grenade

Smoke grenade creates, quite obviously, a smoke screen around the area, which can be then used in a variety of ways.

1. Smoke grenade can be useful when you want to search through the inventory of a killed enemy or use a medicine on an open ground. This will allow you to hide from the nearby enemies.
2. Smoke grenade can also be used to prepare a trap for the enemy. Throw it at the entrance doors to the building and wait for the enemy to enter. You can open fire as soon as the enemy leaves the cloud of smoke.
3. The smoke lasts 30 seconds.

Axe

In the beta version of Feat the Wolves, there is only one type of melee weapon available to the players, which is the Axe. It is useful mainly during the early stage of the game, when you do not have access to other weapons - it is always better to fight using an axe than with your own fists.

1. Axe has longer reach than fists, giving you advantage over other melee-fighting players.
2. You can kill an enemy by aiming at their head, while targeting the torso requires two solid hits to take someone out.
3. Do not use this weapon when fighting wolves, as you will quickly get yourself killed.
