If you join the Berserkers in Elex (the quest Allies from the Middle Ages) you will join at the lowest strata (Cultivator). You can try to get a promotion to a higher cast (Warrior). This will happen if you talk to Ragnar and fulfill the following requirements:
- Getting Jax to at least 15 experience level;
- Completing the A Quick Rise quest for Ragnar;
- Completing the Cormag’s Solace quest for Cormag;
- Completing the For the Community dla Angrim.
A Quick Rise
How to unlock the quest: Talk to Ragnar in the Hotel Ruins of Goliet.
Ragnar wants you to find Gunnar in the Valley of the Damned. You can find the location to the west from the The Great Lift in Edan. There will be many bandits there. Try to kill them one by one. Don’t go too far into the valley, because some strong monsters are there (unless you want to the monsters to fight the bandits). Examine the northern hill in the valley. After dealing with any enemy in your way, find Gunnar, or rather his corpse(400XP) and get the Gunnar’s Journal. You can go back to Ragnar (800XP).
How to unlock the quest: Talk to Cormag in Goliet.
Cormag wants the protagonist to help him with some work. You have to report to Born from the northern end of the village (200XP). Born will ask you to get rid of 15 Gralla Roots. Do just that and, after you’re finished (100XP), go to the barrel near the wall and throw them there (100XP). Go back to Born and then to Cormag (200XP).
For the Community
How to unlock the quest: Talk to Angrim in Goliet.
Angrim wants the protagonist to take a look at Zerwas who collects taxes in the village. You should do that right away, because Zerwas will soon start his errands. Follow him and stand close to the people he’s meeting (so that you can hear the conversation). Mthere are three conversations you need to hear. Wait until Zerwas takes the money to Angrim.
Talk to Angrim and decide what you want to do. You can:
- Lie and say that Zerwas has given all the money or added some of his own. Don’t go for this one if you don’t want any trouble.
- Tell the truth: Zerwas stole some money from Angrim.
If you’ve told the truth and you’re in debt with Angrim, he may ask you to kill Zerwas. Accept his request if you don’t want to lose his support. According to Angrim’s plan, you have to follow Zerwas and wait until he leaves the village. Attack him then (without a warning) and kill him (300XP). Go back to Angrim and tell him that the mission was completed (500XP).
Becoming a warrior
After completing the above quests and getting at least to lever 15, you have to go to Ragnar and ask him to make you a warrior. You will get 3000XP and the Magical Fist (one of three – fire, ice or poison). Additionally, you will get the Armor Smith will be able to purchase new things in the stores as well as to claim yet another class – the Paladin.
