Zlatko is also the name of the chapter as well as the name of the enemy hero of this chapter in Detroit: Become Human. This chapter is quite long, although there are several roads that lead to a positive conclusion. There is only one good ending in the Zlatko chapter - all the others end Kara's storyline.

Come to Alice to calm her down when she stops by the cages in the basement.

Open the gate and enter the property area, then double-use the bell at the door. The beginning of the chapter always looks the same: after a short conversation with Zlatko and getting to know his helper Luther, you go together to the basement. There, Alice will be lured by the noises - talk to her.

Go to the laboratory in the basement and set yourself in the machine on the platform ..Now the memory of Kara will be reset. There are two options:

  1. Kara gets out and doesn't lose memories - as you can see in the Flowchart, then you skip the entire long stage of memory recovery.
  2. Kara loses memory - if you can't get out of the machine, before you delete the memory, you will have to recover the memory. This extends the separation significantly and increases the chances of failure.

You must make a short circuit to break out of the machine. You do not have much time for this, because about a minute (the progress bar visible on the screens will not reach the maximum). To get away, just do two things:

  1. In the top right corner, pull the green wire,
  2. In the bottom left corner, push the red cart.

That's all. Now you can go upstairs to find Alice.

Resetting memory - Kara loses memories

  1. If the memory of Kary has been reset, you must collect memories by interacting with various objects to restore Kara's memory. Follow the next steps:
  2. Optional: examine cages with modified androids on the ground floor in the basement (memory); you can release the androids group, which slightly affects the final cutscene.
  3. Go to the ground floor into the living room,
  4. Take a tray of food from the table and take it to the second floor - in the workshop of Zlatko put it on the table,
  5. Take an android's torso and take it to the next warehouse.

From now on you have 10 minutes to recover your memories - otherwise the task will fail and the Penalty thread will be terminated.

On the ground floor you will find:

  1. Jacket hanger (memory),
  2. Coffee table in the living room (memory),
  3. Mirror (memory).

In the warehouse you can find:

  1. The inscription ra9 on the wall (memory),
  2. Cage with a bear - you can release it, it can help you in later escape by Zlatko (you can also release it later),
  3. A pipe next to the door, on the dresser (memory).

In the bathroom (next room) you will find:

  1. Android in the bathtub - you can save or kill him; you can do it later, during the escape from Alice (both cases are marked on the Flowchart).
  2. In the bedroom you will find:
  3. Unloaded shotgun,
  • Newspaper (memory): contains one fixed page and two depending on events: the other side differs depending on whether Kara was found in the Great Escape chapter or not.

In the large room you will find:

  1. Television (memory),
  2. Fireplace (memory),
  3. Alice's book by the fireplace (only if you saw her in Alice's room on the floor, in the New House chapter) (memory).

At the end of the corridor upstairs:

  1. If you haven't restored Kara's memories yet, you can look through the slit in the door (memory),
  2. If you regained your memory, you can go in to start the escape with Kara (read on).

After recovering the memory, you have to find Alice and escape with her from the mansion - in some cases, it may not be too easy, but fortunately there is a checkpoint in this place. You can find Alice in the last room at the end of the corridor, upstairs. However, before you go for it, you can complete the Flowchart:

  1. Retrieve the mark ra9 in the warehouse,
  2. Find a shotgun in the bedroom,
  3. Check the TV in a large room,
  4. Check the fireplace in a large room (unblocks additional interaction while running away).

After taking Alice out of the room you have to turn to the big room. Here you can use the hiding place under the table or in the wardrobe. You can also set the house on fire if you have previously examined the burning wood in the fireplace (it speeds up the escape a little). However, instead of hiding, you can freely go to the bedroom. But here you have to hide in the wardrobe or under the bed. Wait until the cage leaves the room and goes out into the hallway. Hence you will quickly flow into the bathroom, where if you have not met before (or ignored the android in the bath, you can now save it or kill it).

Part of the escape in the warehouse may prove to be the most difficult. Rinse under two tables unnoticed and throw a figure from the table into Zlatko to escape effectively. If you haven't freed the bear from the cage before, walk behind the wardrobe and chest of drawers to the cage, and even if being detected, you'll escape when Zlatko is attacked by an animal. These are two separate events in the Flowchart.

If you fail in any of the stages of the passage described above - the escape of Alice from Zlatko while hiding - the chase will begin. This is a long QTE event that continues until the end:

  1. death of Kara by getting shot (only in the bathroom or a warehouse - other QTEs may not be successful),
  2. getting out of the house safely. In this case, there are two possible cutscenes: if you released the androids from the cellar, they will kill Zlatko; if you did not, Zlatko will be killed by Luther.

It is worth knowing that when you reach the stairs leading to the ground floor, you do not have to press any buttons anymore until the end of the chapter. At this point you are already safe, and the remaining QTEs and choices are only for the purpose of extending the gameplay.
