Is it worth upgrading the ship?
Even though you're more likely to travel on foot in the missions, it's still worth to invest the point evenly. Your spaceship also needs attention and upgrades. This will increase the strength of the weapons and shields.
The improved ship is mainly used for Armageddon activities and for defeating bosses.
Armageddon
Armageddon is a side activity that consists in inflicting as much damage as possible. During this side task you control your flying saucer. Therefore, it is worth having an upgraded saucer to cause as much damage as possible.
Boss - Robo-Prez
In the mission Attack of the 50-foot President!, you'll have to defeat Robo-Prez. In this boss battle, you'll be flying the saucer.
Before playing this mission, it's worth to upgrade your flying ship. Focus on:
- Repulse-O-Tron;
- Sonic Boom;
- Death Ray.
Upgrades
In the case of the space saucer, you can upgrade:
- The Death ray;
- Sonic Cannon
- Quantum Deconstructor
- Saucer shields;
- Repulse-O-Tron.
