Juzo Mido is one of the main antagonists in Code Vein. Prepare for this battle by equipping a Blood Veil which has the biggest Blood protection. His Gifts and some attacks deal damage from this status.

Location: Area O-11, Upper Level

The tactic for this fight is to be as close to Juzo Mido as possible. His attacks don't usually hit you when you're behind him, although some may hit you even there. If you know that you are about to get hit, dodge and continue the attack. When you are too far away from him, he will perform a "bloody slide" in your direction, which deals damage and pushes you back a little bit.

When his hand starts to glow red, he is about to perform an attack that creates a blood orb that will follow you slowly. The best way to avoid this attack is to hit the ball - this will make it disappear. He also has a ranged attack that he performs by slashing the air with his sword twice - these slashes create projectiles flying in your directions. Avoid them by doing a roll to the side.

His second phase starts when he loses 40% of health. He stands in place, starts laughing and activates an upgrade for his weapon - this will increase his range. In addition, these attacks will cause blood to spread at the end of the blade. This doesn't deal a lot of damage, however, it can throw you off the balance. The moment when he is activating his second phase is a good opportunity to deal him damage. Your damage won't be too large, but after a certain point, he will begin to perform his first longer attack, which makes the damage go back to normal.

This attack creates black orbs surrounding the player. They aren't a threat all the time. However, when two orbs are close to each other and they are about to connect, dodge quickly. If you don't do that, the explosion will deal you damage. He always starts the second phase with this attack.

From now on, he will use the slide more often - prepare to perform fast dodges. His new move shoots a very fast projectile that follows you. It deals a lot of damage - watch out for this attack. He signals this move by raising his red-glowing hand. Also, you have to watch out when he swings his sword - he performs a charge towards the players that ends with a slash. Dodge at the right moment or you will receive huge damage. This move also has good range because it spreads blood. When you see that he is raising the sword while bending down, be prepared to dodge quickly. Apart from these attacks, the battle isn't very different from the previous phase.
